Following the 2014 recall of Infinity electrical cables, which failed to meet Australian electrical safety standards, Prysmian has launched a colourful solution to make it easier to select quality cables that are safe for use.
From September 2015, Prysmian’s range of 1.0mm² to 6.0mm² flat cables has been bound in a distinctive magenta coloured wrap allowing buyers to easily identify cables manufactured by Prysmian Group.
Previously bound in clear wrap, the new magenta wrapped reels really stand out against most other cables in the market so will be much easier to find.
In addition to the magenta wrap, Prysmian has re-designed and colour coded the reel label on flat cables to help retailers and users select the right conductor size quickly and easily.
