In broad terms, the Guell 1 series of asymmetrical floodlights is designed to replace 70W-150W HID lamp installations (either Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium) to effectively reduce energy consumption and increase light output whilst providing a very long service life. Additional functionality is available with options that include a dimmable driver, passive infra-red motion sensor and options to select different colour temperatures to suit the installation type or location.
Asymmetrical Beam Optics
The Guell 1 features asymmetrical beam optics with a peak intensity at Imax 40° (50° when using the light hood accessory). Benefits include the reduction of glare, excellent control and uniformity of light distribution (no hot spots) and the ability to eliminate all types of spill light. The result is a visually comfortable and efficient solution that is suitable for a range of applications.
