There has been a product recall on Plug In Pest Repellers. It has been determined that the 2-piece plastic casings on some of the units from this production run are not securely joined and may allow separation during handling, exposing internal circuitry. This is an electrical hazard.

The importer of these two products is conducting a voluntary recall of all Ultimate 2-in-1 Pest Repellers purchased from August 2014 onwards from Mitre 10 or Hammer Hardware stores.
SAFETY ISSUE

PLEASE NOTE - The issue only affects units purchased from Mitre 10/Hammer Hardware, and only during this period. This recall does not affect any other Ultimate pest repellers, or units purchased elsewhere
WHAT TO DO – If in use switch the unit off at the wall and remove from the socket outlet. Please return the item to your local Mitre 10 or Hammer Hardware store along with dated proof of purchase for a full refund.
