There has been a product recall on the Kenwood Blend-X PRO Blender. There have been instances where the blender blade has broken during routine internal testing.

Defect:
Due to an inconsistency in the metal used in the manufacture of the lower blade of the blender, there have been instances where the blender blade has broken during routine internal testing.
Hazard:
If the defect occurs, broken blade pieces may mix with food or drinks and pose ingestion and / or choking hazards. Broken blade pieces also pose a cutting hazards.
What to do:
Stop using your blender and contact Kenwood to arrange a free replacement blade assembly with a new and improved blade set.
