HPM has launched its new range of residential LED downlights. As one of the only major offerings featuring dimmer compatibility, the range delivers flicker-free and low-level dimming of up to five per cent.
“The new HPM LED downlights provide electrical contractors with an efficient, affordable and high performance lighting solution they can specify and install with confidence,” said Maxime Dupont, Lighting Category Manager for HPM.
The downlights are compatible with a wide range of trailing and leading edge dimmers, including Arteor, Excel Life, Excel and Linea ranges from HPM and Legrand. For added convenience and flexible installation options, the downlights are also compatible with a range of other major brands’ dimmer offerings.
Featuring a colour render index (CRI) range of 80 to 92+ and a beam angle of 80o to 100o, the LED downlights can emit between 600 and 950 lumens of warm white light and 650 to 980 lumens of cool white light. Designed with world-leading Citizen LED chips, the range delivers clear, reliable and robust lighting for residential projects.
The HPM LED downlights are available in four series – the Dalia, DLS, Azalea and Freesia series – and are suitable for a range of residential applications.
With an output of up to 980 lumens and a 92+ CRI, the Dalia series deliver superior brightness and colour rendering to sharpen the details of an interior space.
The DLS, Azalea and Freesia series feature a low profile heat sink for easy installation in tight ceiling cavities and multi-floor dwellings. The popular DLS series also features a recessed diffuser to reduce glare and deliver an even light spread. For customers preferring a more streamlined look, the Azalea and Freesia downlights have a flat diffuser.
Designed for retrofit installations, the Freesia series features a 70mm cut-out for simple and easy replacement of existing halogen LEDs.
All products are tested to provide 30,000 lamp hours – higher than the average LED lamp expectancy – which represents a life span of approximately 20 years based on three to four hours usage per day.
Designed for installation simplicity, the lights use flex and plug for easy fit-off and a handy downlight bracket to position the driver close to the luminaire for easy access.
The new LED downlights are IC-rated, insect and moisture resistant, with IP ratings ranging from IP44 and IP65. They are supplied with a six-year warranty.
