EYE Lighting’s new and innovative LEDioc Flood Spolart luminaire is designed for direct replacement upgrades and new installations to improve illumination levels and reduce energy consumption compared with HID applications, in particular metal halide lamps. It is based on the design of the well-known range of H373 D / H373 S floodlights and features the same mounting arrangement and reflector.

This means LED direct replacement upgrades are simple and almost as easy as changing a lamp.
Retaining the inherent design of its preceding HID floodlight provides an advantage in terms of upgrading existing fixture installations – swap the lamp and ballast for the LED upgrade unit and power supply. The aiming angle and the mounting arrangement remain intact.
When comparing the LEDioc Flood Spolart with a 400W (MF400X/U) metal halide installation, it is possible to increase light levels by 1.4 times while reducing power consumption by 50%. Not only that, but longevity increases out to 60,000 hours (LM70) compared to 16,000 hours with metal halide.
The LEDioc Flood Spolart is available in two types each with narrow, medium and wide beam options. The first type is described as the High Efficiency type delivering 5,000K light with a CRI of Ra70. The second type is of High Colour Rendering producing 3,000K light with a CRI of Ra 80 and is ideal where colour rendering is an important element of the lighting scheme.
