For the effective lighting of wards and patient care areas, the Sky-Dome provides a unique solution by effectively lighting both the wall and ceiling with a dome shaped LED cover lens. Different lighting control options are available to suit application including: standard (non-dimmable), SMART digital control or DALI compatible. As healthcare and aged care facilities require dimming to low levels during the evening, the Sky-Dome with SMART of DALI creates a perfect solution. The specialised patent-pending, dome shaped lens effectively spreads uniform light across the ceiling and bounces off the walls to help make the area appear larger. This helps to eliminate the ‘cave effect’ which is always a design consideration for all types of hospitals, medical facilities, aged care facilities and veterinary clinics.
