EYE Lighting’s Cera Arc™ EX lamp range continues to build a solid reputation as THE direct replacement lamps of choice.
It offers numerous advantages in comparison to low colour rendering “orange” light produced by conventional high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. The EYE Cera Arc™ EX lamps emit white light which improves the visibility of objects to the human eye. This means that improved levels of visibility are achieved with the same wattage as the lamp it replaces.
One direct replacement application for the EYE Cera Arc™ EX is for upgrading street lighting. In many cases initial costs associated with new generation LED luminaire installations are prohibitive. This makes energy efficient upgrades to existing installations more attractive. EYE Cera Arc™ EX lamps are ideal for direct replacement to upgrade old technology into an energy efficient installation simply by changing the lamp.
The EYE Cera Arc™EX is also available with an internal FEC lamp ignitor. This range is a direct replacement solution for mercury vapour (MV) installations. No ignitor is needed for the control gear.
A range of typical applications include road and street lighting, residential, architectural, retail or any application using HPS or MV control gear.
