The Block is an Australian TV series, providing house renovation and inspiration, while educating viewers on the hottest products and design trends.
This year's season showcased the journeys of five couples and their respective quests for the perfect renovation. For the winning couple, Josh and Elyse, it’s all been about attention to detail. Josh and Elyse describe their style as ‘modern contemporary’, achieved through the extensive use of neutral colours and natural materials.
Josh worked with builders and tradies on site, who shared their vision and provided advice based on their own experience. A good example of this was the couple’s decision to hire Block veteran Nick Howe from Know Howe Electrical.
