Attachment at all times is to be progressively implemented and will be electricity industry practice by end of March this year.
As indicated in the new SM-EI issued last July, EEA has adopted an objective to implement an “attachment at all times” practice when working at height (excluding when climbing a ladder). Attachment at all times is to be progressively implemented and will be electricity industry practice by end of March this year.
To assist companies in implementing this requirement EEA are holding a number of workshops in early March. The programme is being finalised but will be a mixture of class room presentations, discussion and physical demonstrations.
The workshops will start at 10.00am and end by 3pm.
Workshops are planned for Taradale - Napier and Auckland, the venue and date for the South Island workshop is currently being finalised; details will be available shortly.
