84    SPECTRA LIGHTING  OUTDOOR ARCHITECTURAL CATALOGUE   2011/2012 The Hedo is a contemporary pole-top luminaire with a distinctive disc shape. This functional luminaire uses highly-efficient light sources to offer high performance but with zero upward lighting component. The broad beam distribution coupled with good uniformity allows for additional space between fittings leading to potential total cost savings. This aesthetic design also possesses retrofit capabilities since it will easily fit many existing pole installations. For example, old inefficient light polluting spheres can be quickly and easily replaced by the Hedo. The Hedo is well suited to various recreational and residential projects as well as paths, walkways and car parks. Three versions are available featuring different lamp configurations (all come complete with integral control gear). Three designs are available within the Mitis series - with different sizes, shapes and light distributions.
