The Excel Life Medical range has been tested   by an independent TGA accredited laboratory to  JIS Z 2801:2010 and proven to   be an effective antibacterial agent. The results demonstrated a kill  rate against Escherichia Coli   and Staphylococcus Aureus  between 99.72% and   99.9999% . 2 Electrical Safety •  Internal safety shutters are incorporated  in all powerpoints adding an extra  safety barrier from electric shock. •  A range of Electresafe powerpoints  with a built-in 10mA or 30mA Residual  Current Device (RCD safety switch) are  available. Developed specifically for  the healthcare industry, the 10mA RCD  has a more sensitive tripping threshold  enabling greater protection of people and  fault identification of critical equipment. Complete medical functions  and service panels •  Excel Life Medical range includes a variety of  medical service panels (MSPs) in stainless  steel and antimicrobial plastic for patient  rooms and operating theatres. Customised  MSPs are also available on request. •  Response time by care staff is critical in  healthcare facilities so it is essential to  quickly identify different power sources,  circuit and distribution boards. The Excel  Life Medical range offers colour coded  devices for easy identification in accordance  with Australian Medical Standards. The  range also includes integrated Circuit  IDs for powerpoints and switches. 3 Integrated and modular design The Excel Life Medical range has a sleek,  modular design that integrates seamlessly with  the rest of the Excel Life range. This means an  extensive choice of additional functions can be  added to enhance healthcare facilities including:•  Skirting  lights with options of a  permanent or movement activated light  are ideal for guiding patients and care  staff at night and preventing injuries.  •  Dual USB chargers that fast charge at 2.1A  per port can be incorporated into powerpoints  and switch plates for charging mobile devices  including phones and tablets. Ideal for patient  and staff rooms. •  No Touch Switches for lighting, auxiliary  switching for water taps, doors and other  applications. The No Touch switch is   activated by waving a hand within 5cm   of the switch plate. Perfect for reducing   cross-contamination. Note: Skirting lights, USB charging mechanisms and No Touch  switches have not been treated with antimicrobial material.
